So- I kind of want to play something out in the Nothingisreal rp but it's kind of dark ish...

So that's why  it's going here instead of in the request thread there. I can hide the quote under a cut. I think it qualifies as darkish. It's certainly not a light topic for certain.

But if I don't do SOMETHING with this scenario, it's going to consume my thoughts.  It has since I  was informed of it.  That was in early November.  It's nearly January. Literally, not a day has gone by where I can't stop running this thought in my head...that might  sound crazy but it's true.

this has eaten at my soul for a LONG time )

Writer's Block: Forgive and forget?

Do you tend to forgive and forget or hold grudges? What is the longest you've ever stayed angry with someone? Is there anything the other person could say or do to win back your friendship and trust?

Forgive and forget. Life's just too damn short to stay mad at someone for very long. Possibly I'm foolish for this but really what's the point in staying mad for any extended length of time? Anything longer than a week is excessive, and really, not past sun-down. You don't know when someone is going to be ripped from your life or you from theirs. It really doesn't take much to get back in my good graces- I trust easily- too easily.

Writer's Block: Most inspiring teacher
that ring
[info]rstarkey

Who is the most inspiring teacher you ever had and why? How often do you think about what they taught you? How has it changed your life?

Does life count as a teacher? 'Cause else wise, none. I dropped out at fifteen, and was several years behind then.  Life has taught me more 'en any ol' teacher could. Life taught me early that it really isn't all that bad. That is, yeah, shite gets tough, but at least I'm alive to feel it. And this thought peeks its little head through 'most daily but especially after a really sulky or tough day .

Writer's Block: Sick day

When you get sick, do you prefer to go it alone or be doted upon by a friend, partner, or parent? Do you usually go to work or school or stay home?

View 1264 Answers

Well, since when I was a kid it wasn't in fashion or what-have-you to have your parents with you when you were in hospital, plus me mum had to work  to just keep a roof over our heads, since me dad had long since left,   and I was left mostly alone save for doctors and nurses or other sickly children when I was conscious enough to notice or care, I kind of have a fondness for other people now. A good mate( or you know, more than a mate ^_-)  will do the trick, s'long as 's'not contagious. If it's contagious then I wouldn't want anybody to catch it so I'll suffer on alone.

And it depends on if I can go to work. If I can, I will.  Nothing can be said of me not having a good work ethic. I'll work til I can't anymore . And I mean literally until me own body says enough muckin' about. And I end up collapsing during a photo shoot- not me finest moment, I'm sure.

Writer's Block: Are women or men bigger cheats?
ringo flower new default
[info]rstarkey

Do you think men or women are more likely to cheat if they know they won't get caught? Do you believe in marriage?

View 1025 Answers

LJ likes to mess with me, don't it?

Men, okay. We are far bigger cheats....especially those of us who would love to be allowed to just be with someone but can't because society says we can't and the law enforces the same.

It's not justifying it, it's just sort of saying why?

I dunno, I don't think any of us set out at the start to hurt someone.

But we are just more likely to cheat.

*shakes head*

And of course I believe in marriage- I just think both parties would be better off if they didn't rush into getting married.

Apparently, this is the kind of mayhem we cause, mates.

Last I checked, none of us set out to do this to cause 'epileptic fits', or other dangers but just came across some stiff in Ohio talkin' 'bout all the trouble we managed to cause in our concert there in '64.

And what does he mean "Not a prude"- he's the very essence of one. We just set out to play. Not our fault the little birds can't control themselves.

Writer's Block: The truth is out there ...

If someone discusses UFOs at a party, do you assume they're a visionary or bonkers? Do you consider yourself a believer or a skeptic?

Seems like a bit extreme, don't you think? Only those two options.  Why not curious or somethin' of the sort. Or open-minded.

After all, it does seem a bit daft to assume we're the only intellegent planet. All the cosmos and what-have-you, surely there is some other planet out there with life.

Maybe they get curious too.

On a scorching day, do you prefer the beach or an air-conditioned movie theater?

Hmm..........*ponders*

Well, I  wasn't exactly lying when I said I couldn't swim now, so movie theatre. Cold, dark, popcorn...a good western or possibly Science Fiction ...maybe something I can learn a little somethin' from, seeing as my formal education is lacking.

Yeah, movie

Writer's Block: Home Remedies

When you get sick or have a cold, what's your favorite remedy to make you feel better?

View 1667 Answers

Alright, I had to bite this one. Seeing as other than drums and what some generously call a 'unique' playing technique , the only other thing that "looms large in [my] legend"  is illness it was highly appropriate.

The best remedy is one the oldest in the world- alcohol. Whatever happens to be handy. Wine works pretty well but Scotch is the ultimate kicker. Then a good night's rest- alone or with my wife or possibly one of my mates- (a doe-eyed bassist  works especially well).

This is all assuming the cold doesn't turn worse on me- which it very well might.
